My interviews spanned multiple days, with sessions that were typically around 30 to 45 minutes each. At first, I tried to focus on the substance, but the atmosphere made it hard to feel comfortable—some of the people I met came across as having inflated titles, and it felt like they were acting junior in a way that didn’t match the formality.

The questioning also threw me off. Instead of digging into my background and understanding how my experience fit the role, it leaned heavily on situational questions read from a prompt. The vibe felt more cult-like than collaborative, with comments and behavior that gave a clear sense of hierarchy and exclusion.
