After a recruiter contact, I went through a pretty formal sequence: a hiring manager round first, then an in-person presentation round with the country director. After that came an HR business partner conversation, followed by a director of strategy and ops round. The last step was submitting my documents.
Overall, it felt straightforward and “process-driven,” like they were walking me through set stages rather than improvising. I didn’t get an offer, but the path itself stayed clear from start to finish, and the rounds felt aligned to progressively higher stakeholders.

My process left a bad taste, and a lot of that came down to how the experience was managed. I went through rounds only to later realize the decision might have already been made, and it felt like I was there to complete steps rather than to be evaluated seriously. At one point the recruiter even gave me the wrong address for the initial interview, and that delay immediately threw off the start.
Timing and communication were inconsistent and it created a sense that urgency didn’t really exist on their side, at least not in a way they were communicating clearly. There were long gaps followed by sudden activity, and the timeline and decision-making felt unclear, which made it hard to understand what was happening. I also had to chase updates, and even after the final interview, I waited for word that never came.
