At one stage I had a manager conversation before stepping into multiple technical interviews, and I also remember the feeling that the whole experience was oddly enjoyable and professionally run—until it wasn’t. In my case, I ultimately didn’t receive an offer despite feeling like I performed well, and the timing ended with either a generic final decision or silence afterward.
