After a recruiter touchpoint, my process moved into an online assessment stage that mixed aptitude with coding and AI-flavored questions. A few days later (and overall it felt pretty quick), I reached the technical portion where the questions leaned on fundamentals and my own projects. I walked through my project details in depth, and the technical conversation included SQL questions—nothing overly complex—and a couple of straightforward prompts around my resume.

Right after that, HR came in and shifted the vibe. The HR questions centered more on communication and how I handled situations with teammates, especially conflict management. It felt a bit harder than the technical part mainly because it was less concrete and more about how I expressed myself. I answered confidently enough to clear the technical discussion, but the HR round was where they seemed to judge my clarity and interaction style most.

My interview felt unnecessarily uncomfortable from the start. The interviewer repeatedly cut into my answers and didn’t give me much space to explain my background fully. What really threw me off was how often he questioned the authenticity of my professional experience, which made the whole conversation feel dismissive rather than collaborative.

The interaction also took a strange turn when he asked me to show my room using my laptop camera and then request that I share all screens, including anything connected like monitors. I complied completely—showed the full room, explained there weren’t any extra devices or additional monitors connected—and still he seemed unconvinced.
