My first round was a LeetCode-style coding question, and it felt pretty straightforward at the start. I got a Combination Sum problem, and the interviewer was friendly and easy to talk to, which lowered the pressure. The whole thing was focused on fundamentals of the coding approach rather than heavy theory.
After I worked through the Combination Sum prompt, that was it for the round—no long detour into unrelated topics. The tone was supportive, and the main surprise was how specifically the question matched what I expected to see from LeetCode practice. Overall, it left me feeling like the process was testing whether I could translate that style of problem into a correct solution quickly.

My interview journey started with an online assessment on HackerRank. The take-home-style work wasn’t just a single trick question; it covered a wider mix of topics, including some data structures like graph-related thinking. After that, I moved into live rounds where the questions shifted toward SQL and general computer science fundamentals, with a couple follow-ups that were pretty grounded in how databases and systems work.
Then came the technical and behavioral mix. The first round combined technical and behavioral, and the next round was technical again, with the behavioral component showing up earlier in the flow for me. Everything felt scheduled and timely, and the recruiter kept things moving so it didn’t drag.
