My interview started with a group product demo. We were placed with a random mix of people, and the session moved quickly into a “pitch” style challenge where I had to come up with a business idea and sell it like I was pitching it on a stage. After I presented individually, I was questioned immediately, and the focus stayed on whether I could handle rejection-style pressure and keep my pitch structured under scrutiny.

Then things shifted into role-play territory that felt like it was designed to test how well I could think on my feet with incomplete information. I was given a short instruction sheet right before the role-play, but the preparation time was tight enough that it didn’t really let me absorb everything deeply. During the exercise, new details got added and I was expected to know how Odoo’s customer and partner processes worked—so when I tried to respond with assumptions, I got challenged.

My process felt more about waiting and confusion than about the interview itself. I started with a recruiter conversation where I introduced myself and talked through my account management background, and I remember being told I’d hear back by the end of the week. The week came and went, and then I kept checking in only to get no real response.

Later, the same kind of frustration followed me to the final stage too. Even after reaching a last interview and being told there would be a timely decision, I was left hanging for weeks. When the response finally arrived, it was generic and oddly automated, not the kind of human feedback that matched the time I’d already invested. One time even felt personal because the company stopped responding outright after an interview that had required extensive prep.
