I went through Nykaa’s process for a Software Engineering role that felt pretty structured but ended in rejection. First I had a shortlist step that led into an OA with three programming questions spanning easy, medium, and hard. After that, the interview rounds happened at the Gurugram office, and I had to move through multiple conversations the same day.

My first technical stage was an OA discussion, then I got a DSA/LeetCode-style round where the focus was medium-level problem solving. Later there was a more resume- and fundamentals-based discussion, and finally there was an HR round that felt mostly formal. Even though I cleared every step technically, I didn’t get selected—HR didn’t give much, if any, concrete feedback, and the overall vibe left me feeling like the decision wasn’t actually tied to the quality of my performance.
