I went through two rounds, and both were technical. The first one was general and covered basic ECE concepts, including memory management and computer architecture. It felt like they wanted a solid foundation and a way to ensure I could connect the dots across core topics.

The second round went much more toward the role itself, with a specific focus on memory management. That concentration made the evaluation feel narrower and more directly tied to what the job would actually involve.

I had to wait a long time for a response—around two months—and that delay added stress before I even got to the interviews. When I finally did the interview, it focused on Linux and operating systems concepts, plus bitwise operations and C/C++.

The flow included a first written test and then an interview with the team I would work with, followed by an HR interview. It was a three-stage technical-to-people sequence. Even with the multiple steps, it felt like the hardest part wasn’t only the questions—it was the uncertainty from the time gap and how long everything took to reach a decision.
