I started with a take-home style assignment, and it leaned heavily into practical QA thinking. The work pulled me into Linux and networking topics and also asked technical questions that forced me to show how I approached debugging and test design rather than just definitions. I had to tie together how I’d validate systems and how I’d reason about what to test.

After I turned that in, I moved into a professional interview that followed the same theme. We talked through how I troubleshoot when something isn’t working, how I use logs, and how I handle connectivity issues. I also got into how I’d structure good test cases and what I’d check to confirm behavior. The questions felt like they were testing my method, not just whether I knew the tools.

My process kicked off with an assessment that mixed formats. I had multiple-choice questions covering core concepts, and it also included two coding problems. The coding portion and the overall setup felt like a QA-friendly skills check rather than a pure interview conversation.

After that, I went into two technical interviews. The style was very problem-solving oriented: I remember the earlier parts of the questions being tied to fundamentals and then moving into more direct evaluation of how I solve. It definitely depended on my resume and whether I could go deeper into the concepts I claimed.

Candidate Reflections & Feedback

Many candidates express a desire for clearer feedback post-interview, as some felt the closure was abrupt or lacked detailed insights into their performance. This aspect highlights the importance of communication and transparency in the hiring process.
