I started with a recruiter call, but the first recruiter gave me incorrect information about how the interviews would be structured. A second recruiter scheduled everything afterward and clarified the process for me. The initial rounds were two separate 45-minute sessions: one with a hiring manager and another with a senior engineer that included LeetCode-style questions. Both of those rounds felt friendly and I thought they went well.

After that, the onsite included multiple parts. There was behavioral coverage, including general questions about my work, plus a high-level system design question. I also had an API design component where I had to read up on topics like pagination, authentication, and system design basics, and then there was a deep dive into one project I liked. The system design round ended up being a terrible experience because the interviewer was rude and reacted poorly when I fumbled. The final coding portion had two questions; I solved the first but couldn’t solve the second.
