I started with a recruiter screen, and it felt pretty fast to move from there. The whole process stayed practical and didn’t lean on LeetCode-style puzzles. After the recruiter call, I had a technical screen where I worked through a practical coding problem. What surprised me most was how much the interview emphasized modern tooling: there was an AI-enabled coding component where I had to use an AI assistant effectively (something like Claude Code / Cursor), and the expectation was that I understood how to work with those tools rather than just write code from scratch.

Once I passed that, I went into a virtual onsite. The coding part followed a similar shape as the technical screen but went deeper, and it also included an AI-enabled coding segment again. After that came system design and then conversations with managers, with the tone staying challenging but “fair.” The pace between rounds was quick—at most a couple business days—so the process didn’t drag.

Average Negative Dublin, Dublin

My process started like it was going to be smooth: I had a recruiter screen, then a hiring manager conversation, followed by a standard demo of the product. The interview content itself didn’t worry me much, and the recruiting person was helpful about what the rounds would look like.

Where it fell apart was timing and communication. Even though I was told they’d move fast if I could, I was left guessing about how many rounds I had left and where I stood. I spent time following up to figure out whether I was actually progressing. After I put in my time and energy, I didn’t get a clear update, and when I finally did hear back it was either after a long delay or not at all—just silence, or an automated note weeks later.

What to expect

Distilled from the reports

Recruiter & Initial Screens

The interview process typically begins with a straightforward recruiter screen, followed by a technical screen that often includes practical coding exercises rather than traditional LeetCode-style questions. Candidates should expect a focus on modern tooling and collaborative coding practices.
