Average Positive London, England

After a recruiter chat, my process was surprisingly straightforward. About a week later I had to do a short process-mapping exercise, and then I wrapped up with a culture-fit conversation.

The process map itself used a very simple scenario and was something I could work through using Visio. Everyone I spoke with felt friendly, and overall it didn’t feel like there were hidden traps or trick questions—just three clean steps to see how I thought and how I’d fit.

Average Negative United States

My process started with a recruiter intro, and it quickly became clear that communication was going to be a weak point. In my case, I had to set aside an odd first impression—during the recruiter conversation the pay was framed as lower than what I expected, and the way they talked about my education came off dismissive. I still moved forward because I was aligned on continuing, but after I was given a date for follow-up, nothing happened and I kept chasing.

I made it through the rounds and there were moments that sounded promising—at one point I was told they wanted to accept me, just that offers were delayed. Still, I never received clarity on what the hold-up was, and I didn’t get a real explanation after multiple follow-ups. The pattern repeated: delayed timelines, promises of updates that didn’t arrive, and then silence.
