My technical interview question set was very specific and hands-on. I was asked how to create an authentication process and how to authorize users, then how to advertise every network on a router. I also had to explain how to create access lists to mitigate unauthorized users, and there was a question about how to use a switch for maximum usage.

The experience felt average in difficulty, and the questions were very much about practical networking concepts rather than abstract theory. I didn’t receive an offer, but the technical scope was clear from the start and the focus was definitely on whether I could articulate working solutions.
