Easy Negative United States

I moved through a pretty classic sequence: a phone call with HR, then an interview with the hiring manager, and then a panel interview. Each step had a week or so between them, but the HR contact was easy to reach and actually provided feedback at the end of each stage, which made the process feel less opaque than I expected.

After the panel step, I received an offer and accepted it. Background checks and the usual requirements followed, and it genuinely felt like I was moving into the next phase. Then, because of circumstances that weren’t about my performance, they pulled the offer—an outcome that was terrible to deal with after all that momentum.

Average Positive Boston, MA

My interview journey felt thorough and challenging, but not in a hostile way. I went through multiple rounds with a recruiter and then moved through conversations with colleagues, team leads, managers, and eventually the director. Even though the number of interactions was high, the overall vibe wasn’t intimidating; people seemed focused on making sure I wasn’t unnecessarily nervous.

Across the recruiter and the employee rounds, the questions stayed grounded in my skills and how I’d fit the professional services work they needed. Each interviewer felt well-informed about what mattered in their part of the organization, and I spoke with a peer plus potential supervisors along the way.
