My interview kicked off with a quick technical conversation where the questions felt very straightforward. I was asked about SQL basics—especially joins—and then moved into REST API and HTTP. I remember getting asked about different HTTP methods, the meaning of common status codes like 200, 400, and 500, and the difference between GET and POST.
They also covered core QA terminology: what regression and progression mean, plus how I approached functional testing. Overall the round felt easy and focused on fundamentals, and that was the main impression I walked away with.

Average Neutral Gurgaon, Haryana
My process felt fairly standard and mostly centered on testing basics. I attended an in-person walk-in at the office, and the discussion stayed grounded in core concepts—SDLC and STLC, SQL and joins, and the kinds of hands-on topics that fit a QA role. I also got pulled into related tooling knowledge, including Jira, and a bit of Unix-style knowledge.
In another step of my journey, the structure was clearer: there were three rounds total, including an online assessment, a technical round, and then an HR round. I managed to clear two rounds. The assessment felt average, while the technical part stayed focused on writing test cases and QA fundamentals rather than anything overly complex.
