Difficult Positive Singapore

My Zoom interview was one full hour and it blended technical depth with a personality check. I knew the role tied into treaty accounting, so the questions went right to the mechanics—how to understand the role in treaty faculty and reinsurance accounting, and how the financial flow works across premium (income), claims, and commissions (including what gets paid out versus what comes in).

What really stood out was how they probed my understanding of claims handling with specifics, like what information mattered and how it connected back to categories of contracts. Credit control also came up, including a discussion of what to consider with third parties and the tradeoffs involved. It didn’t feel like vague “tell me about yourself” time—the interviewer wanted precision.
