Recruiter outreach kicked things off, and the process quickly escalated into a hiring manager video call. After that, I was given a take-home coding assessment, which set the tone more than the live conversations did. Once I submitted it, I moved into a sequence of video calls with team members—separate sessions where the focus felt more collaboration-heavy than purely gatekeeping.

What stood out most was how far the process went after those technical conversations: I also had a video call with executives. Each step was clearly staged, but it still felt like a lot of “checkpoints” to get from first contact to the exec-level discussion. Overall, I didn’t end up with an offer, but the journey felt structured and deliberate rather than chaotic.

After applying, I didn’t move quickly to the next step. I remember waiting about a month before I heard back for the next stage interview, and that timing alone made the process feel slower than it needed to be.

The experience wasn’t especially good or bad in terms of the conversations themselves—I didn’t walk away furious or thrilled—but the overall timeline dragged on enough that it colored everything. I never reached an offer, and by the time the process finally got going, it just felt like it took too long to get meaningful progress.
