I went through a surprisingly large number of interviews, and the structure didn’t feel like it matched the seniority or rigor I expected. The process included two recruiter interactions with different HR members, which felt more like confirmation than a true interview. Then I had multiple coding challenges and more rounds layered on top.
The technical work itself felt very easy to me—CS 101-level questions rather than the kind of problems that would justify the number of steps. I completed the coding challenges quickly, even finishing one hour-long task in about half the time and completing an extra bonus challenge from an interviewer. I was also asked to do a presentation-style component that felt like busy work, and there was a demo problem that didn’t work as expected when it came time to reference ServiceNow.
