After an orientation step, I landed in a two-hour technical interview that ran with three interviewers joining back-to-back. Each session was about forty minutes, and the format split into front-end, back-end, and system design. It was live coding with screen sharing the whole time.

The pace was steady but intense—no real breaks during the chain of interviews, so I had to stay sharp for FE, then immediately transition into BE, and then wrap with system design. The questions were practical in the sense that they mapped to the core areas being evaluated, and screen sharing made everything feel more transparent and less “hand-wavy.”

I went through a fairly classic sequence: first a recruiter call, then an in-person technical-and-behavioral round, and finally a last round that was also technical plus behavioral. Because it was framed as a junior role, a big part of the conversation focused on digging into my resume and my past internships/projects, and the rest leaned on straightforward technical fundamentals and behavior.

On the technical side, I remember LeetCode-style easy/medium questions that revolved around things like two pointers and linked lists, plus consecutive prompts on simple data structures like lists, sets, and maps and their time complexity. I also had to speak to OOP concepts and language-specific tradeoffs—since it was a Java-oriented track, that included how garbage collection and core collections interfaces show up in real work. For behavior, they ran a couple of STAR-style prompts, including a conflict scenario about how I handle friction with teammates and how I’d resolve it.
