Average Neutral London, England

After a recruiter-style human resources call, I moved into a longer technical case interview that felt tightly scoped but still demanding. The case itself came with a real clock on it: I had roughly three hours from when I received the prompt to when the interview wrapped.

The focus was corporate finance—using what I knew about the fundamentals to work through the situation, and then talk through my thinking as I went. Overall the difficulty felt “average,” but the time pressure made it feel more intense than a typical screen. I didn’t end up getting an offer, though the structure of the case-and-discussion format was clear and fairly professional.

Easy Negative Bengaluru

I applied through a LinkedIn job post and ended up with two fairly quick rounds. The first conversation was a 45-minute mix of scenario-based questions and a lot of discussion around how I worked as a business analyst—how I handled different situations and how my experience mapped to the role. It was the kind of interview where the interviewer wanted to understand my approach more than hunt for obscure facts.

A couple days later I got shortlisted for a second 45-minute call with a senior lead/product manager from the onsite side. That round felt interactive, and I walked away feeling like they were genuinely pleased with my answers. I heard back about a week later with a “not shortlisted” email, which honestly shocked me because I thought the call had gone well—especially since the only thing I could guess might have mattered was that my notice period was around 60 days.
