Difficult Negative Nigeria

At the start, I was genuinely excited—I’d been approached by MongoDB and the opportunity felt promising. I put a lot of time into preparing for each round, and things seemed to be going well as I progressed. Then I was abruptly ghosted.

After the recruiter I was working with stopped responding to my emails, I never got closure or feedback on what happened. That lack of communication was especially frustrating because of how much time and energy I’d already invested, and it left me feeling like a company at MongoDB’s level should uphold more professional candidate communication even when the result isn’t positive.

I never heard back from them even though they reached out and had me fill in a bunch of information. I made it far enough to reach a next stage, but then that subsequent interview never happened.
