My interview journey moved quickly from a recruiter phone screen into a deeper round of one-on-one interviews. After the initial call, I ended up with four 45-minute interviews, all behavioral in tone with some technical topics mixed in. What made it feel intense was the scheduling: all four interviews in the second round happened on the same day.
Overall it took about three weeks to get final results, which felt like a decent turnaround given the number of people involved. In another similar Project Manager path, the process took longer—closer to two months—and stretched across three rounds of general PM questions and scenario-based prompts. That one included a lot of discussion about timelines and team management, and it felt like the panel process took time to complete even though the questions weren’t described as uniquely hard.

After connecting with the recruiter, my experience moved into back-to-back interviews that were manageable but very focused on how I’d described my past work. In my case, the recruiter reach-out came a couple weeks after I applied, then I did a phone screen followed by three interviews in a row with a short break between. The questions were mostly about sharing previous experience and translating it into what I’d do in the role.
When I got to the hiring manager interview, it didn’t go as smoothly as the others. I kept getting interrupted, and the questions landed a bit too mechanical for how I wanted to tell my story. Still, the rest of the rounds felt more constructive, and I walked away feeling like I understood more about the company and the role than I had going in.
