Average Neutral Atlanta, GA

I went through a fairly early group stage where I met with a number of people at once. The interview felt very general and didn’t dig into sales specifics like how I’d run a pipeline, what I’d sell, or why Meltwater specifically. It was more about broad communication and general fit, and it was the kind of setting where I had to be ready to think out loud with others around me.

Overall it was an average-difficulty process, but it didn’t feel tailored to the Account Executive role. I left that round knowing I’d need to be much more prepared to speak in group settings, but I also felt like the stage didn’t really test what I’d expect for a sales role. I didn’t get an offer after that group interview.

Average Negative United States

My process felt long enough to be a real commitment, and it leaned heavily on simulated sales work. I ended up going through multiple rounds that included mock cold-call scenarios for two different situations, and the format still felt sales-forward even though the rest of the experience didn’t feel overly intimidating.

I’m pretty sure there were around four rounds in total. The people I spoke with were easy to talk to, which helped, because the main pressure point was performing live through the cold-call simulations. I kept thinking about how I was handling objections and pacing the conversation, and I had to stay sharp across both scenarios.
