My interview experience felt pretty smooth from the start. I spoke with the recruiter about what the role would involve and what I could expect if I came on, and the conversation stayed focused on the infrastructure side of the job. A few questions came up along the way, but it never felt like a high-pressure grilling.

I didn’t go in completely cold either—I’d already had a big referral before I started the process. That, combined with how straightforward the recruiter conversation was, made the whole thing feel lighter than most technical hiring cycles. I ended up not receiving an offer, but overall it was an uncomplicated process and the tone stayed friendly and practical throughout.

My interview process felt clean and simple. I’d applied and then got invited into a panel-style interview where I spoke with three people, including the hiring manager, a PM, and a coworker. The questions were described as good and fair, and the whole conversation stayed grounded in things they could evaluate directly.

The more intense part of this type of process was that it still pushed beyond just surface-level talk. In my case, I handled a mix of technical discussion and expectations, and the difficulty landed at the harder end for me during the overall onsite portion.
