After a recruiter-style first touch, I ended up with a technical interview that felt hands-on and pretty intense. The conversation centered on SAP CPI integrations, especially how adapters work, how exceptions should be handled, and what the expected behavior looks like in real-time scenarios. I also spent time on Groovy scripting, including how to think through what you’re changing and why.
The whole session was interactive rather than just an interrogation, and I felt like I could explain my approach with confidence. We moved from concept-level questions into practical troubleshooting—how I’d trace issues during an implementation and how I’d reason through fixes without guessing. I came out feeling good about how clearly I could walk through projects and the tradeoffs I’d considered, even though the subject matter was definitely not light.

Average Positive Hyderābād
My interview journey started with the usual intro, then the interviewer pulled questions directly from my resume. From there, the discussion moved into technical material from the core subjects for the role, and it didn’t stay purely conversational. At the end, I got both a DSA-style question and an HR question.
Overall the format felt medium in difficulty: structured, but with enough variation that I couldn’t just rely on one type of answer. It wasn’t chaotic, and I could follow the flow, but the DSA and core technical pieces made it clear they were testing more than just communication.
