I had a pretty polished start to the process. A recruiter got in touch to run a quick first screen, and after that the timeline moved through online testing and then straight into multiple live rounds. The main interview flow felt structured, with clear scheduling and good communication from the recruiting team, even though it stretched out longer than I expected.

The first live stage was short and involved a junior-style round, followed by an online assessment. After that, I progressed into a superday-style set of interviews with senior leaders—two back-to-back conversations with VP/MD level people, with a two-on-one format in the interviews I did. Across those sessions, the questions stayed a mix of motivation and fit (why this role, why the firm) plus technical themes, and I remember the overall pace feeling intense but fair.

My process started with an online assessment, and then I moved into live rounds that felt purpose-built around evaluation style. I went into a first interview phase where the technical component included case study style materials, followed by questions tied to specific topics. After that, the behavioral interview felt more CV-based and didn’t go as deep technically, which made the overall split between “technical thinking” and “story/fit” pretty clear.

What surprised me was how much the technical part leaned on applying concepts from the case itself rather than getting a gentle ramp-up. The final stages felt structured around a longer assessment-centre type day, with one segment devoted to reviewing the case, and another focused on a competence and behavioral conversation. It also matched the idea that they were testing more than raw knowledge—they wanted to see how I interpreted information and stayed coherent under time pressure.
