I went through a staffing agency for a work-from-home Financial Analyst role, and my process was pretty streamlined. I had two interviews, both on camera, so it felt like everything was happening in the same remote format from start to finish. The interviews covered the usual back-and-forth you’d expect as they assessed whether I fit the role.
I made it to what felt like the final round, but I ultimately declined the offer. The overall experience didn’t feel extremely tough; it was more about progressing through the staged conversations and confirming alignment than about being put through anything highly technical.

After applying, I ended up doing a pretty low-pressure set of conversations. I interviewed alongside three other people, and the whole vibe was easy going and straightforward. Most of what I was asked leaned behavioral, and nothing felt like it was designed to trip me up.
I remember feeling genuinely relaxed the entire time—there was no sense of being rushed. Even though the interviewers were moving along, I still had enough time to ask every question I came in with, which helped me leave the process feeling like I understood what I was walking into.
