I went through a pretty structured five-interview process. A recruiter reached out to keep me moving, and at each step she shared the general theme of what was coming and what to expect. The interviews were spread across multiple people and formats, and even when some sessions were tougher than others, the overall tone stayed professional and surprisingly enjoyable.
My first step was a recruitment conversation, then I had two separate hour-long interviews: one with a manager and one with another engineer. After that, I went into an on-site panel format that included a presentation component. The final step was customer-facing, where I spoke with the head of customer service. Across the whole loop, people were engaged and thoughtful, and I felt kept in the loop the entire time rather than being left guessing.

My process started like most sales loops—several stages where I talked with an internal recruiter, then technical managers, peers, and sales management along the way. It included both personality and a tech test, and the early conversations felt consistently positive.
What surprised me was that even with lots of encouraging signals, the decision still didn’t land in my favor. The final round was where I felt the momentum slip, and at the last moment I was told that a US VP had put the brakes on the offer. The explanation sounded abrupt, and it was framed like something they might have done with other applicants too.
