What is a UX/UI Designer at Loft?
A UX/UI Designer at Loft is responsible for shaping the future of real estate transactions in Brazil. Loft operates in a highly complex, high-stakes market where buying, selling, renting, and financing a home can be a bureaucratic nightmare. As a designer, your primary objective is to transform these fragmented, stressful offline experiences into seamless, transparent, and trustworthy digital products. You will design solutions that cater to a diverse ecosystem of users, including home buyers, property sellers, real estate brokers, and internal operations teams.
In this role, you will not work in isolation. Loft structures its product development around cross-functional squads, where you will collaborate daily with Product Managers, Software Engineers, Data Analysts, and Operations Leads. This means your design decisions must balance aesthetic excellence and intuitive usability with technical feasibility and business viability. You will have a direct hand in defining user journeys, validating hypotheses through research, and scaling the company's shared design system to ensure visual and functional consistency across all platforms.
To succeed at Loft, you must be comfortable navigating ambiguity and designing for complex transactional flows. Because real estate transactions are infrequent but highly significant life events, your designs must build immediate credibility and guide users safely through complex financial and legal steps. This is a highly strategic role where your work directly impacts the company’s core business metrics, conversion rates, and overall brand trust.
