After my CV was uploaded, the process moved through a few distinct stages. First came a technical round where I had to solve LeetCode-style problems under tight time pressure, roughly an hour. The pace felt like the main challenge—there was only so much time to think through edge cases before the clock pushed me on.
Next, I moved into a large soft-skills portion where I recorded video answers. I was asked multiple situational prompts, and only some of them required me to speak directly into the camera, then submit my responses for review. The last part was an assessment centre where I worked with others to reason through problems and come up with solutions collaboratively.

Average Negative Manchester, England
My interview started with a prep email that looked promising: it outlined the context, role alignment, and culture alignment topics in a pretty straightforward way. The day of the interview felt disorganized though. The interviewer didn’t follow the plan that had been communicated, and the flow never really matched what the job description had set expectations for.
The biggest mismatch was the direction of the questions. Even though I was being assessed for a role that was meant to be hands-off team management, I got pulled into highly technical material—like discussing a recent technical build document I’d created and then walking through how I investigated and troubleshot a complex network fault, including what commands I used on which devices. When I challenged the mismatch between what I’d been guided on and what I was being asked, they essentially repeated the same questions and asked me to answer as best I could anyway.
