After a recruiter-style step, I moved through a fairly structured sequence that started with aptitude and then shifted into coding on the same day or shortly after. My first stage was an easy MCQ-style aptitude round, then I had an online assessment with coding that mixed MCQs and problem-solving. The coding portion felt very C/C++-centric, and it was the kind of constrained format where the language choice mattered and the questions were straightforward but not trivial.
Next came two technical interviews, both described to me as intermediate, with the second one feeling harder. I was asked typical fundamentals and engineering-adjacent topics alongside DSA and OOP thinking. One technical round leaned into DSA and OOP concepts together, while the final technical discussion mixed DSA problems with behavioral questions. The format itself was consistent: live problem solving and concept checks, not just theory.

Difficult Positive Phagwāra
My hiring journey started with online aptitude, followed by more than one online assessment step, including a C/C++-oriented coding question. When I got to the interview rounds, the focus moved into OS-level and system fundamentals first, then into deeper DSA and OOP-style expectations. One technical discussion pulled in topics like processes and threads, how IPC works, virtual memory, and other OS concepts—then I also had to solve DSA problems like valid parentheses and a longest non-repeating substring.
The second technical interview went heavier on the same theme: at least one DSA problem plus project and OOP-related questions. Across the technical parts, I noticed how they wanted me to connect concepts, not just name them. Even the earlier screen had me in C++ STL territory, and the live technical round included a wide spread—C/C++ programming alongside system programming-style topics like Linux, plus networking/communication protocol knowledge depending on how the conversation went.
