Average Positive Canada

I went through a pretty structured sequence, and it still ended with a straightforward no. First was a phone conversation that was more about fit and my background—just a short chat about my skills and myself. After that, I had a technical interview, then they gave me a take-home task.

The final step was a more conversational interview with a senior leader from their side, where the tone shifted from pure evaluation to discussion. The difficulty felt average overall—nothing stood out as unusually hard or easy—until I got the decision. I was rejected with the explanation that their team had reached capacity and they weren’t adding any more mid-level developers at that time.
