After a recruiter call, I got a take-home and then moved through a more structured set of conversations that culminated in a final technical/behavioral onsite. The coding portion stood out because it wasn’t the typical “memorize-the-right-pattern” vibe; the questions felt practical and built on each other across levels, so what I did first actually mattered for what came next.
One stage felt off, though: the “conversational” interview turned into a rapid sequence of prompts read from a list. The interviewer didn’t really expand on my answers unless I got stuck and needed to give another example, and the whole thing felt like they were trying to get through their script quickly. There were behavioral-style questions mixed with some technical trivia, but it didn’t turn into the kind of back-and-forth I expected.
