My interviews leaned heavily toward front-office style thinking. I started with a HireVue that was specifically for sales and trading, and it felt very compressed: I was asked three questions with essentially no preparation time and only one chance to answer each. The prompts were about markets, including discussing a recent transaction and explaining why JPMorgan mattered to me, so I needed my answers ready even though I couldn’t take time to organize them on the spot.
After that, the process continued in a more conversational Zoom format. The questions centered on me—talking through my background, how I kept myself updated, and even what I had read the day before. There weren’t meaningful technical problems to solve during that stage; instead, it was all about confidence and how I presented what I knew.

Difficult Positive London, England
I began with a HireVue and then was invited to a Superday that moved fast. The Superday consisted of three 25-minute interviews, and it also included a math test focused on probability and statistics. Those interviews blended competency, technical, and behavioral questions, so I couldn’t rely on one style of preparation.
What made the day feel intense was the variety packed into a short window—switching between different question types while staying consistent in how I explained my reasoning. The structure pushed me to be both quick and thoughtful, especially around the technical and the way I handled competence-style prompts.
