I had a solid mix of recruiter and team conversations. There was a recruiter call, and then I got a longer interview session with multiple people where the questions blended behavioral and technical topics, and I had a lot of room to ask questions back. It felt like they were genuinely trying to learn how I worked and what I’d do with the role.
After a first intro zoom focused on my resume and experiences, the main interview was built around short presentations. I had to share a brief overview about the group, and I also gave a short presentation about the technical skills I’d bring, followed by questions from the team. They then split into two smaller groups for more specific and technical questions.

My interview felt casual and straightforward. I expected a zoom session, but technical issues interrupted the setup, and it ended up keeping things simple with limited technical questions. Most of what I faced was behavioral—strengths and challenges—so it was more about conversation than testing.
In another stretch of interviews, I experienced a more extensive format: an overall two-hour block that split into four sessions, and I spoke with multiple engineers across those segments. The structure was more time-boxed, and I had to stay consistent in how I described my projects and how I approached theoretical situations. Even though technical questions didn’t dominate in the first part of the process, having to cover a lot of perspectives over that schedule made it feel more like I was being evaluated on clarity and adaptability.
