Average Positive Israel

I first had a short conversation with the hiring manager. After that, I went onsite and ended up with two technical interviews, each lasting about two hours, with three engineers involved in the first session.

The first technical interview was centered on coding questions in a LeetCode-like style, and the overall format made it clear they wanted sustained problem-solving rather than quick Q&A. Between the two technical blocks, the process felt fairly straightforward to follow, and the difficulty read as average rather than brutal.

Average Positive Israel

After a recruiter-style step, I went into a sequence that was part technical and part managerial. First I met with the team lead, then I had two separate technical interviews with senior engineers. After that, I spoke with a senior manager.

Across the interviews, the topics stayed consistent: my technical background, how I worked with Kubernetes and DevOps, how I approached problem-solving, and system design. They also dug into my experience with cloud infrastructure and production environments, trying to connect my past work to how I’d handle real systems.

Depth of Technical Knowledge

Interviews often demand a strong understanding of low-level concepts, including systems, memory management, and specific technologies like Kubernetes and DevOps. Candidates should be ready to discuss their technical background in detail and demonstrate their reasoning behind design choices.
