After talking with a recruiter, the process moved pretty quickly into a single technical interview. I started with a resume walkthrough and had to explain the projects I’d built and, more importantly, why I’d built them that way. The technical part leaned on core programming and debugging—things like going through my understanding of data structures and then working through a program to identify what it was doing and where it might be failing. It didn’t feel like a leetcode gauntlet so much as a chance to talk through reasoning.
That same interview also mixed in behavioral questions. I got prompts about my past experience and how I handled issues, and there was time for questions at the end. The overall vibe was manageable and fairly standard, and I remember feeling like I communicated clearly.

Difficult Neutral Toronto, ON
The process I experienced felt intense right from the start. It began with a phone interview that covered basic screening topics like availability and immigration status, but then it shifted into a genuinely technical cloud-oriented conversation. I remember being asked about data-related topics including Data Bricks and AWS, and it went beyond generic developer questions—it felt more like I was being evaluated for a cloud architect style of thinking.
Later, there was an online test stage: after receiving an invitation, I completed an algorithms and programming test. Following that, there was a video interview with general HR questions, and then a final technical round that pulled from across the full technical breadth.
