After an initial recruiter/HR conversation, I moved to two live rounds. The HR screen focused on my background, what I was looking for next in my career, and whether my work style seemed like a match culturally. A little later, I had a second round with the lead data scientist and the data science manager. That part went deeper on my past projects and pulled in technical questioning tied to my experience.
What stood out was how the technical discussion included both general GenAI topics and a more concrete problem: an insurance claims case study. The overall vibe felt structured but fair, and I appreciated that the HR follow-up came back after about two weeks with constructive feedback even though I wasn’t selected.

Average Neutral Montreal, QC
After the early stage invite, I was sent a one-way video interview with a small set of prompt questions. I had three questions in total, and each response window was about two minutes. The format felt low-pressure logistically because I was allowed unlimited tries to record each answer before submitting.
I experienced the same kind of setup in a separate video step as well—short prompts where I recorded answers for a couple of minutes each, with the ability to review what I’d said before sending. That editing/rewriting flexibility changed the feel of the process: it didn’t test my spontaneity as much as it tested whether I could clearly structure my thoughts quickly. Overall, it was a straightforward way to screen for communication and fit, even though I didn’t get to the offer stage.
