The interview focused heavily on technical specifics around APIs. I was asked a bunch of detailed questions, and when I tried to get clarity on certain acronyms used during the conversation, the interviewer wouldn’t expand or explain them. At the same time, there were also plenty of situational questions, and those actually made sense.

Overall, despite the frustration around the acronyms and how narrow the explanations felt, the experience was reasonably pleasant. I still walked away without an offer, but it didn’t feel hostile or poorly run—just a little uneven in how it was communicated.

I interviewed for the Software Engineer role with a very API-focused conversation that felt more like depth probing than explanation.

Technical interviewlots of specific questions about APIs; when acronyms came up, I wasn’t given much help expanding them. There were many situational questions.
