Average Positive United States

Recruiter outreach kicked things off, and after that phone screen I moved into a longer Zoom sequence. The structure felt pretty consistent across rounds: first a conversation with an SE manager, then two technical interviews that focused on coding and systems design. Those were followed by two culture-fit interviews with different leadership figures, so the process shifted from hands-on problem solving to how I’d show up with the team.

Even though the content was fairly standard for consulting, it still felt lengthy because it was roughly six interviews total when you count the initial screen. The technical part was the most “proof” oriented, while the leadership rounds emphasized fit and how I’d communicate and collaborate. Overall it felt like a deliberate screening process rather than a quick check-the-box set of calls.

Difficult Positive Dallas, TX

This felt like a senior-level, technical strategy interview loop. I went through multiple rounds with a technology and technology-strategy focus, and most of the interviews were with senior resources. The format mixed different types and levels of technical discussion, and every conversation gave the impression they expected me to operate at a higher bar.

Difficulty-wise, it didn’t feel casual. Each interview felt tightly aligned with the position, and it was clear the questions weren’t just checking basics—they were trying to see how I thought about technology decisions and how I handled strategy-level tradeoffs. The overall journey had a “this belongs together” vibe, like the people I spoke with were consistent about what they cared about.
