A recruiter reached out to me and things started fast. We talked through the role, my background, and a salary range, and they said they’d send more details and move me toward an interview. I even got drawn into follow-ups after the initial call, but then the communication just stopped—no response to messages, no updates, and no closure.

When I finally did get an interview scheduled, it still didn’t translate into momentum. I went through a manager/developer panel where the questions felt vague and loosely connected, and I walked out feeling like I’d lost the thread partway through. In the background, the process dragged for weeks at times, and I ended up doing a technical step like a coding exercise before hearing anything back. The pattern was similar each time: after interviews, I’d reach out for status updates and get left on read or receive silence.
