Average Positive Bengaluru

After applying through the Infosys career page, I first did an online assessment. It was basically a mix of aptitude and programming fundamentals—enough that it felt less about trick questions and more about how solid my basics really were. When I passed, the next step became an interview where they wanted both clear communication and enough technical depth to show I understood what I’d worked on.

In the interview, I introduced myself and walked through my projects and resume. The technical portion stayed fairly grounded: discussions around programming concepts and the tech stacks I’d listed, plus questions on areas like OOPs, DBMS/SQL, and often some DSA-flavored reasoning such as arrays, recursion, or optimization. There were also behavioral questions tied to how I handled deadlines or worked with others, and even a chance to explain my approach rather than only the final answer.

Average Negative Pune

My Infosys journey started like a classic full funnel: an online aptitude and coding test, then a technical interview, and finally an HR round. The aptitude portion covered logical reasoning and verbal abilities, and it also included pseudocode and sometimes lightweight coding/technical questions. After getting shortlisted, the technical round followed with a fairly standard flow—self-introduction and then questions drawn from the fundamentals I’d studied.

In the technical interview, they kept coming back to core IT areas like OOP concepts, DBMS and SQL, operating systems, computer networks, and the programming languages I had on my resume. I also got scenario- and project-related questions meant to test how I understood the “why” behind my work, not just the terminology. The last step was HR, where the focus turned to communication, confidence, strengths, career goals, and even discussion around willingness to relocate.
