Average Positive Bengaluru

After the initial recruiter stage, the process moved into a technical screen where the questions were very engineering-heavy and production-focused. I ended up getting grilled on React application architecture and what I’d do for performance optimizations, then shifted into Node.js APIs and authentication. Docker and Kubernetes deployment flow came up as well, along with AWS services I had actually used.

The difficult part was that the interviewer didn’t stop at theory—I had to talk through production incidents and how I’d troubleshoot them, not just describe general knowledge. There was also an emphasis on agile delivery and taking ownership of features. The conversation was tough enough that I felt it was testing a more specialized level, and ultimately I didn’t just get screened on DSA and my tech stack—I had to connect all of that to how I’d work in real systems. I received an offer, but the overall difficulty left me feeling like they were intentionally validating depth rather than just fundamentals.

Difficult Positive Bengaluru

My hiring process moved through a couple of stages and felt time-bound, but also pretty structured. I first went through a virtual interview setup where I was asked technical and system-style questions; at one point it was described as including a DSA segment and then follow-ups that covered Java with Spring Boot and system design questions. The interviewer also drilled into my AI experience, which made that part of my resume feel central.

After the virtual step, there was an HR manager stage where compensation, role, and location discussions were supposed to happen before the final outcome. The overall timeline was described as taking a few weeks, and I remember waiting with a mix of uncertainty and hope as updates came in.
