After the recruiter call, I got pulled into a first online round that went really well. The whole flow felt organized, and by the time I moved to the next stage it still had the same smooth momentum. The process ended up being short overall, and I remember it as mostly technical and experience-focused conversations rather than anything overly convoluted.
I then had an in-person second round that also went well. The questions stayed relatable to my field and my day-to-day experience came up naturally, along with how I’d handled situations in real work. When I reached the final HR step, it was straightforward and tied into salary discussion. I kept getting updates along the way, and the coordination felt clear.

Average Negative Hyderābād
I made it through the L1, L2, and HR interview rounds, and the experience felt like it was progressing as expected. After completing those rounds, I was asked to submit the required documents, and I was told that the background verification process had been initiated. Based on that communication, I genuinely believed the next step would move toward an offer.
But after that point, the way my candidacy was handled felt off. The time and effort I put in across all the interview stages didn’t match what happened afterward, and I felt disappointed by the lack of transparency in the process. From my perspective, candidates make career decisions based on what they’re told during recruitment, so letting someone think they’re moving into background verification without giving clear closure is hard to reconcile.
