Negative United States

I found the process frustrating from the outset. It involved multiple phone interviews—four total—with one recruiter call that felt more like a sales pitch than a genuine evaluation, followed by calls from a program manager and two other network engineers. Even though I wasn’t a network engineer by background, they still reached out because I had the required security clearance, which made the direction feel off.

The interviews themselves didn’t feel personal. The last call in particular stood out because the interviewer came across as insulting and not very personable, and it felt like his perception ended up outweighing anything I could explain. Overall, it was a huge time sink, and it didn’t seem like my time was being used to clarify fit.

Negative

My experience with Infoblox left me with a bad impression pretty quickly, mostly because of how the recruiting team operated. Even compared to other hiring processes I’ve been through, the communication felt lackluster and focused on “personnel” more than on actually understanding talent.

Because of that, the process never felt like it had momentum. I didn’t get to a point where I trusted the process enough to take it as seriously as the role deserved, and I ultimately didn’t receive an offer. The hardest part to shake wasn’t the interviews themselves—it was the overall vibe of how little care the team seemed to put into moving things along.
