I applied through a staffing agency, and the timeline stretched out to around two months. The early steps were pretty straightforward: HR contacted me from a platform like Naukri, gathered details about my previous experience, and scheduled a telephonic or Skype interview. After that, I was told there would be a final round that required me to go to Tiruvandrum, Kerala.
That final round was the part that left a bad taste. It was a panel with three people, and one of them came across as a team-lead who focused mostly on negative points from my resume rather than engaging constructively with my background. It also felt like they hadn’t properly honed in on the role before bringing me in, which made the conversation feel lopsided and wasteful.

My first step was a screening focused on whether I had the communication skills they wanted. After that, I had a technical discussion over video where the questions centered on basic networking concepts. Then I moved straight into a face-to-face interview.
The whole path felt difficult, and it was pretty concentrated—just a few stages, but with networking and communication treated as key filters. I didn’t end up getting an offer, and the experience left me with the sense that they were looking for a very specific profile from the start rather than gradually learning about me.
