I went into this process feeling like the technical side could go well, and it mostly did. The interviewer asked questions where I had the chance to show strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills, and I communicated clearly throughout. I answered thoughtfully and tried to stay structured.
The only noticeable concern was a slight hesitation when I discussed past team projects, which made it feel like my story wasn’t landing as smoothly as the technical answers. Even with that, the overall impression was that I showed potential for the role.

Difficult Positive India
I hit a much tougher technical screen that felt like it was designed to stress-test how I think. The first-round technical interview included a large set of challenging questions—25 of them—covering a wide range of areas like algorithms, data structures, problem-solving, and system design. Some questions were straightforward, but several required deeper analytical thinking and I had to optimize for performance and scalability.
What helped is that the interviewer was thorough and patient. They encouraged me to explain my thought process at each step, so it wasn’t just about giving an answer—it was about showing how I got there. When I got to the point of having to discuss system-level reasoning, I felt like the interview was really looking for real-world application rather than purely theoretical knowledge.
