Average Positive India

My process felt smooth from start to finish, and the interviewers were polite and genuinely helpful. I ended up doing three rounds total. The first was an online HackerRank-style test with four output questions plus a balanced parentheses question, and the second round was a DS/algorithm interview.

For the third round, the focus shifted to JavaScript. The whole set of conversations felt paced and structured, and I never felt lost about what was expected in the moment. Even though I wasn’t successful, the experience itself was pleasant—the interviewers kept things comfortable, and it didn’t drag into chaos.

Average Negative India

I had a JavaScript/DS coding round where I solved most of the problems presented. The interviewer asked me for three separate questions, and all the test cases passed. Feedback during the call sounded positive, so I expected things to move forward.

Instead, I got rejected because they said I didn’t meet their expectations. That explanation confused me because the interview results were strong from my perspective. What made the decision feel more negative was that they suggested I could be considered for a junior role, and I wasn’t okay with that mismatch in expectations since I’d applied for a software engineer level.
