Average Positive San Francisco, CA

A recruiter reached out to me and started with a screening conversation. After that, I had to put together a fairly thorough slide deck about the company, and then I went into a second round where I was asked much deeper questions based on what I submitted. The whole thing felt like they wanted me to demonstrate how I thought, not just recount my resume.

The process stretched out longer than I expected for an account executive—about three weeks from initial contact to the final decision. I went through multiple steps: recruiter screen, take-home assignment, an interview, and then another interview. I was also told the last round would involve the CEO, which raised the stakes for me as things progressed.

Easy Negative San Francisco, CA

A recruiter reached out and set up a phone call. I felt like it went well, and the conversation didn’t leave me with any obvious concerns. I expected to move forward from there.

Instead, I got left waiting. After the call, I was effectively ghosted for months, and only later did I receive a response saying they weren’t moving forward with my interview process. The whole thing felt anticlimactic, like the momentum from the screening never translated into any clear next step.
