After a recruiter-style screening, I had an online assessment that mixed aptitude with technical MCQs and then moved into coding. The coding part leaned on arrays and strings first, and it could ramp up toward more structured problem solving like dynamic programming or greedy-style approaches. Overall it felt like an “easy-to-medium” gate: a handful of coding questions, plus reasoning and core computer science basics.
Once I cleared that, my next step was a technical interview centered on how I approached problems and how well I could connect it back to real work. I got asked to walk through my final-year or past projects and explain the database concepts behind them, then talk through my problem-solving approach rather than just giving an answer. Topics that came up repeatedly were data structures and the practical parts of working with databases/DBMS.
